Get the Clutter out!

Dear readers,

I found this great quote by Eleanor Brown ” Clutter is not just physical things; its old ideas, toxic relationships, and bad habits. Clutter is anything that does not support your better self.”

Toxic people are those individual who walk around with a dark cloud over their heads, nagging, complaining and being negative these people can drain the life out of you. CLUTTER!

Mental clutter in the form of old ideas and myths that are meant to keep people stalled in old ways of doing things or myths that serves as untruth. Think about that people are saying to you and the intentions behind the words.

Question. Are you paying attention to the Clutter in your life? What are you going to do to clean out, get rid of the clutter in your home, removing toxic people ( wife, husband, children, co-workers, church members, friends ). What about all those useless ideas that only serves the purpose of holding you back from creating new ideas.  Come on lighten the load so that you can clear the way to receive good people and situations in your life.

What say you?

    • Yes. I agree. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. Yes. Mental clutter isn’t good for anyone. I started to notice years ago that some of our mental clutter comes from the people around us. Also, we don’t know how to sit in silence. We don’t take time to really think about what is being said to us and why

  1. I love this article, but I need more. What are some ways to de-clutter, especially if you are talking about people? I have found that some of the most toxic people are also the most cling-y and tend to hold on tighter, thus making them more difficult to release.

  2. hello, and thank for reading my blog. it depends on what and and where a person needs to start to clutter. for me I started years ago with my apartment. And due to the cost of high rent I am learning to live in small spaces and have just what I need to be comfortable. If we are taking about removing toxic people, we first have to know who they are. Yes. I agree the ones that are the most draining are the clingy, needy, nagging ones.. For me I slowly started clearing my life of these people. How? I stopped going to places there go, I stopped asking them to visit me, I stopped answering their calls and text.. Remember we are getting rid of the clutter so that we can be better for self.
