Dear Readers, in 2018 I made the discussion to end my engagement. The choice was painful, l had to be honest with myself I was going into the marriage for all the wrong reasons. For a period of time, I felt lost, broken, unloved and unwanted. I decided to journal my way through the healing process and what I’ve discovered about myself was life changing. That was a brave step to take. I can’t imagine it was easy. But I’m glad you were able to see you were in this relationship for all the wrong reasons. I hope your book is a help and encouragement to others.

The choice to leave was painful because at the time I was 55 and was done with being alone. What was actually painful was that I was ready to settle for an unhealthy relationship to avoid being alone. Thank you for your kind words.
