The Devil made me do it!

Dear Readers, I am not getting religious or speaking against anyone’s belief in God. I am trying to speak plain come sense and putting things in perspective. Thank you for watching Conversations with J. R. Floyd. Don’t forget to subscribe  to my You Channel.

  1. I understand what you’re saying–we need to take responsibility for our actions/decisions that we make. When I was a child, my grandmother (who’s deceased) would always say that the “devil is busy” because she would be late for church; the crazy thing was, she would do things to make herself late (washing loads of laundry, cooking, etc.) when she could’ve done those things another time! What you said about looking back at things that weren’t good for us made me think of Lot’s wife looking back at the destroyed city of Sodom when she wasn’t supposed to and she turned into a pillar of salt.

Now I’ve seen the type of posts you’re referring to and I thought that they mainly referred to restoration–like having more peace after trials (but you’ve got to maintain your peace daily), God handling your enemies and providing justice/vindication if they tried to harm you/cause trouble and maybe even replacing former things (a better relationship/job/etc.) and not desiring the former things. Your video has me thinking, though…I definitely don’t want to be subscribing to false doctrine/ideas when I see those type of posts.

Congrats on your new place 🙂
